Things I Just Kind Of Am: cute, a crone, a Jew, a widow, an Ishtaritu, a cat person, and somewhat disassociated. Curly of hair and blue of eye.

The things I am are kind of built in and non-negotiable, as are the relationships -- everything else is subject to to the possibility of change. I am not likely to stop liking something but always open to liking more.

Random comments: I like to think I'm a drag queen in a woman's body. I never met a cuisine I didn't like.

Books -- too many to number. Fiction -- SF, cozies, Georgette Heyer, stuff written by friends. Non-fiction -- history, costume, art, science, anthropology and ethnography, connections.

Movies -- depends what mood I'm in.

Music -- Easier to say what I don't like (rhythmically boring, over produced, obnoxious lyrics). I tend to avoid highly intellectual music, but I love Charles Ives. Things to dance to always good, ditto harmonies and drumming.

Foods -- yes.

Pretty much everything. The unexamined life is not worth living. (Actually, it is, but I don't meet my own quasi-Buddhist standards on nonattachment.)
