When did I become less indie? How did this happen? When did it happen? Did it just sneak up on me? Or was it a gradual thing? I don't know, and I don't like it. Does this mean I've become more mainstream? Someone please help me!

A little more about me than my profile says... I mostly post on livejournal. I'm also on myspace, but I don't post to that blog much either. Too many blogs, not enough time.

I have recently started a few new business ventures. In addition to my Pure Romance business, I'm also a rep for Cello in a Box, and The Gourmet Cupboard. They offer different types of items that don't compete with each other. I like Cello in a Box mostly as something to help me with my other businesses. I don't really see myself having many Cello in a Box parties. But hey, if someone wants to have one, I'm all for it. I like The Gourmet Cupboard because they offer stuff that even people who don't cook can make. Plus, unlike Pure Romance, it appeals to most people. Everyone has to eat some time. As much as I'd like to think that everyone is horny & needing my Pure Romance products, that probably isn't the case. I plan to start sending letters to my friends and family about my new business.

I also have this really cute neighbor who makes leather goods. I may try to sell some of his stuff. I currently have a pair of leather restraints that he made. I plan to keep those for myself, and really need to pay him for them.

I also read a lot, which may be why I'm trying out another business. One of my favorite current authors is Christie Northrup. She writes books for party plan people. She also has several CDs that go along with her books. She has great ideas, but many of them don't apply to Pure Romance. I can't just leave sex toy catalogs wherever I go. In a perfect world I could, but not in this world. The last thing I need is for some pissed off parent to call me because their kid found my catalog at the doctor's office or something. However, a product brochure of yummy food probably won't piss anyone off. I hope not anyway.

Other than that, there's not much more to say. You can learn a lot about me by reading my profile. I think I'm an extroverted introvert. Usually when I take Myers-Briggs type tests I come out as an extrovert. I'm not sure that's really accurate though. I do like to go out & have a good time. I also like to meet new people. But most of the time, if I'm not at work, I'm at home. Just hanging out with my husband and daughter, and wondering what the hell the annoying neighbors are up to now (not the cute neighbor, he's not annoying). Like when I hear gun shots, or other strange noises. I've been here 7 years, and am still surprised by some of the things I see and hear. I guess I spent too much time in the city as a kid. Not that where I live now is really "the country", but it's definitely different than where I grew up. For the most part I can ignore the strange behavior by my neighbors. The one thing that really annoys me though is the snow in the winter. We have a really long driveway, and the snow piles up. We keep saying we're going to put up a snow fence, or perhaps put up trees to block the snow. We've been saying that for 7 years now. Maybe one of these days we'll actually do it.

Other things about me... I love coffee. In fact, I need some more coffee right now. BRB. Ok, I have more coffee. Thanks for waiting. I love sushi. I have gotten a lot more adventurous with it lately. One of my favorites is from a place by work, and it's called a Dragon Roll. It's a yummy mix of so many different types of fish. Plus, on the inside, there's something in fried tempura. So you get hot and cold, and a variety of tastes and textures. No two bites are the same. It's awesome. Let's see... I have 2 dogs and a cat. I have 3 tattoos. I have ideas for 2 more tattoos. Some of the giant bugs out here scare me, because I don't know what they are and if they bite. Some weird little thing bit me the other night. I have no idea what it was. I love camping, especially in the mountains. I could probably be a vegetarian if I wasn't married to a meat & potatoes kind of guy. I love so many different types of music. My CD collection looks really confused. At any one time, I usually have country, electronica, heavy metal, oldies, '80s music & more in my car. That way I can adjust my music to my mood. I really love the fact that my new vehicle has a 6 CD changer. That's a lot of fun! I have also started burning my own CDs. Those are fun too, because I'm not stuck listening to one artist. And I can make CDs for my different moods. I hate my day job. I really hate my day job. I really, really, really, really, really hate my day job. I wish someone would get me out of there. Hopefully one day my businesses will allow me to escape.

My favorite place to go on vacation is Walt Disney World. Yes, I'm still a little kid at heart. No, I don't want to hear whatever nasty things you have to say about Disney. I can say plenty of them myself. That doesn't keep me from liking the company. I would work for Disney in a heart beat if they would hire me. I would want to do something fun, like work in the Haunted Mansion. That would be really cool. I wouldn't even need any special makeup to make me look pale. I'm already so pale that I glow in the dark. I don't think I would ever get tired of the really corny lines they use in the Haunted Mansion. I'm sure I would have fun with them. By the end of this year, I would love to be able to take my daughter to Disney World. I'm not sure if we'll have the money or not, but I really want to try. Of course, I won't have any vacation days left, but maybe I won't need to.
