I'm working on updating my summary, it will probably take a while, sorry it's so empty right now.
Right now I'm in Wyoming doing an internship. It's pretty amazing, but unfortunately it puts me in the middle of nowhere in Wyoming for most of my winter break. Fortunately, it means I get to spend a lot of time with animals who need all kinds of love and attention. When I'm not elsewhere, I'm at school in Kirksville. When school is out, I'm at home in St. Louis. Every now and then I'm somewhere else, generally not for too long.
Academically I'm interested in anthropology and biology, and especially where the two meet.
I love animals, but don't necessarily have tons of experience with them; I'm working on it. I think I would love to do sanctuary work with animals, but realistically may not be able to pull it off.
I like to be outside, but I'm also fairly out of shape; working on that too. My acceptable temperature range is also very small, although being in Wyoming appears to be broadening the lower end of that range.
Not sure what else to talk about right now... Got questions? Ask. I generally try to answer.

Working on finishing my BA in (Sociology/)Anthropology, should be graduating Spring 2009. Hoping to either get a job or find a way in to Grad School after that. Yeah, I'm not freaking out about that at all...

Wasting time, procrastinating, thinking too much, and probably a few positive things as well.

I'm also pretty good at sleeping, or at least pretending to sleep, in the middle of the day. This is a new found talent.

Also, I'm good at brushing my teeth. Seriously. Though it might be that my teeth are just awesome and impervious to problems caused by insufficient brushing.

I've been told that I'm like a haunted house - kind of intimidating (at first glance I don't tend to look too friendly) , but some will find me intriguing enough to go for it anyway and approach me.

In other words, people tend to notice that I tend to look like I probably don't really want to talk to anybody. It's something I'm trying to work on, as it hasn't really done me any good.

Food- I'm a vegetarian, but I won't shove it down your throat if you're not.
I eat a lot of pasta, especially when I'm at school. Also a big fan of Mexican, Thai, and lots of other kinds of food. I also like sweet stuff way more than I probably should.

Technically, apart from things like food, water, and all that kind of stuff, I could probably do without a lot. The following are, in no particular order, things that keep me less cranky than I would be otherwise:

1. naps. lots and lots of naps. alternatively, lots of sleep.

2. chap stick/lip balm. i'm not even kidding.

3. hot showers. seriously, i get real cranky real fast.

4. glasses/contacts. i can't see much otherwise, and that really bothers me.

5. the internet... sad but true.

6. people. preferably awesome friend-type people.
